Women & Spirit offers history museums across the country an opportunity to display artifacts and images that have rarely been seen by the general public. With a balanced approach that draws upon first-hand narratives, this exhibit recounts an untold story in American history. It is the story of American women religious, popularly called “sisters.” As author Cokie Roberts has written: “Understanding and celebrating [this history] is essential to understanding and celebrating the history of America.”
Mount Saint Agnes has arranged bus transportation and tickets to the exhibit at the Smithsonian, and an opportunity for a lunch discussion (you bring the lunch or purchase it at the Smithsonian) to all participants. Don’t miss this chance to discover a world that “few have seen, but millions have shared.” To learn more, visit Women and Spirit.
Details for meeting the motor coach will be provided after registration.
