Mount Saint Agnes
Theological Center for Women
The Catholic Community of St. Ignatius
in collaboration with
Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center for WomenSacrifice, the Holy Sacrifice of Mass, and self-sacrifice are central to the vocabulary and life of Christians. In our contemporary world we see too many examples of distorted understandings of sacrifice and self-sacrifice. International scholar Dr. James Alison and several Baltimore-area scripture scholars, theologians, and pastoral ministers will explore the authentic understandings of sacrifice. A retreat and various cultural events seek to further deepen our understanding of Christ’s redemptive love.
All events are free, open to the public,
and held at St. Ignatius Church, except as noted below. St. Ignatius Church
